Dr. Robert Schlampp, DC
Dr. Schlampp has been in practice since 1979. After obtaining his chiropractic degree from Life University, he continued his studies in radiology and diagnostic imaging. He taught at Life University for 18 years and continues to teach post graduate studies to doctors throughout the country. He has also published a book, “Understanding Radiology”.
Dr. Schlampp moved to Alpharetta in 2003 to establish a multidisciplinary practice before creating Advanced Integrative Medicine (AIM) in 2005. His focus is to offer a very personal approach to total health care. He works with many top-ranked health care professionals in Atlanta and continues to stay abreast of the latest technology in treatment and care.

Dr. Michael Axt, DC
Dr. Axt is a graduate of Tusculum College where he received a baseball scholarship and completed a medical pre-professional degree with a minor in chemistry and Environmental Science. Dr. Axt studied chiropractic at Life University and graduated in December 2011. He worked in midtown Atlanta at Back to Basics Chiropractic from 2012 until he joined the AIM team in April 2014.
In addition to family care, Dr. Axt treats sports injuries, extremities, and implements soft tissue mobilization to complete the healing process. He emphasizes shoulder rehabilitation and injury prevention in overhead sports athletes such as baseball and tennis players. Dr. Axt enjoys helping athletes of all ages, from youth sports to the professional level and works in conjunction with the top trainers and therapists to give the most complete care possible throughout the early, middle and final stages of healing and rehabilitation.
Having played sports throughout life and continuing to play baseball at a competitive level, Dr. Axt provides a unique perspective as he has experience dealing with many injuries of his own including rotator cuff injuries and Tommy John surgery. He knows what needs to be done to get back on the field as fast as possible.
Dr. William Brooks, DC
Dr. Brooks has been in practice in the Atlanta metro area since graduating from Life University in 1984. Dr. Brooks practices with the understanding that the latest and most effective method in the treatment of spine and joint issues in patients requires a personalized multifaceted multidiscipline approach for the best results for patients. For these reasons, Dr. Brooks is very happy to be working with a great group of multi-disciplined health professionals at Advanced Integrative Medicine (AIM) where there is offered traditional Chiropractic adjustive care, medical spine and joint care, and naturopathic solutions for acute and chronic health conditions for the entire family.
Dr. Brooks specializes in full spine, shoulder, knee and ankle adjusting. Dr. Brooks believes in the concept that in the spine, everything affects everything so he strives to achieve total spinal balance with each adjustment allowing for much more satisfactory outcomes for patients relieving symptoms and improving overall flexibility in the body for the longer term.
When not practicing, Dr. Brooks enjoys being with his wife and 3 children, going to high school and college events in support of their Marching Bands and other musical events.
Mary Blalock, FNP-C
Mary comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the nursing field. “I have been a registered nurse for more than 20 years and I have seen the shift in healthcare from treatment based to a more preventative based model.”
Her concentrations in this office will be female bio-identical hormone replacement therapies, male hormone therapies, thyroid hormones, weight loss, and regenerative medicine. “I am passionate about regenerative medicine because I believe this is the direction in which healthcare is moving. I love working with my clients and helping them decrease their joint pain and improve their quality of life.”
Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University.
